Recordings of the Greater & Greener 2024 Keynotes, Mayors Forum, & Corporate Plenary

Greater & Greener 2024 in Seattle, WA was a tremendous success, bringing together over 1,200 industry professionals, thought leaders, and innovators from across the world to the heart of the Pacific Northwest where they cultivated strategies and tools on how to use parks to build more sustainable, vibrant, and equitable cities.

Greater & Greener showcased the creative ways urban parks are helping cities address their most urgent social, environmental, and economic challenges. The conference provided meaningful opportunities to exchange ideas, innovations, and best practices and make valuable connections for future collaboration and partnerships.

In addition to dozens of interactive workshops and tours throughout the city, attendees heard from high-profile speakers including Dr. Jalonne L. White-Newsome, the Federal Chief Environmental Justice Officer at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and Jacqueline Lu, the President & Co-Founder, Helpful Places. Additionally, Seattle (WA) Mayor Bruce Harrell, Bellevue (WA) Mayor Lynne Robinson, and Raleigh (NC) Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin shared their perspectives about the role of parks in city building. Finally, Seattle business leaders held a plenary conversation on Private Sector Roles in Creating More Equitable Park Systems, featuring moderator Sally Jewell, Former U.S. Secretary of the Interior.
