Alyssa Young

Alyssa Young is a Programs and Partnerships Manager at KABOOM!, where she leads a body of work creating equitable access to vibrant playspaces infused with learning and nature. With a background in education and curriculum development, Alyssa centers the wellbeing and developmental growth of children in the execution of her projects, from the creation of play and learning installations in public spaces, to green schoolyard projects, and community-driven playgrounds. She currently lives in Philadelphia, where she enjoys cooking from garden grown produce, getting outside, and renovating her old home.
