Anna is a Principal at Design Workshop, an urban design, planning, and landscape architecture firm with offices in seven states. Anna’s diverse experiences in community, regional, and land planning are united by a focus on people and the planet. She forges application of natural and social sciences that is evident in the dozens of park and open space system master plans she has authored.
Anna’s projects have been honored with more than 40 professional awards. Anna specializes in establishing innovative processes for public engagement and has a reputation for her commitment to building equity for underserved populations through participatory design shaping physical environments. She has served on the boards of YEP! Youth Engagement Planning, Great Outdoors Colorado Grant Committee, and APA’s Small Town and Rural Division. She regularly speaks at conferences regarding parks and health, equity, inclusive design, and environmental justice.
