In her role as Trail Manager for the City of San Jose, Liz Sewell has led teams of professionals to deliver complex trail projects in a variety of landscapes. Liz strategizes deliverables to ensure the City network equitably serves both recreational and commuting objectives by securing and spending funds from Local, State, and Federal sources. San Jose’s existing 63-mile urban trail network is already one of the nation’s largest and is recognized by the FHWA for Transportation Planning Excellence.
Liz has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, and a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Edward J. Bloustein School at Rutgers University.
