Miriam Roskin has held policy, finance, and leadership positions at the City of Seattle since 2000. She closed out her City career in 2022 after 12 years at the City’s Office of Housing, where she specialized in affordable housing development strategies and land use policy, ultimately serving as deputy director for 5 years. Prior positions at the City of Seattle included stints at the City Budget Office and Seattle Parks and Recreation.
Miriam holds a Bachelor’s degree in history cum laude from Yale and a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Washington’s Evans School.
Miriam currently works in the wine industry and periodically leads popular walking tours of Seattle neighborhoods such as South Lake Union and Georgetown. She is mother to one college-age son and minion to one controlling cat.
