Rachel Felice works as the City Nature Manager with Portland Parks & Recreation in Portland, Oregon. She works with staff, stewardship groups, volunteers, and youth crews to provide access to nature and to restore and maintain natural areas, community gardens, and nature patches.
Rachel has two undergraduate degrees from Northwestern University and a graduate degree from Portland State University. She has worked for the City of Portland for about 15 years; her background includes work in academia and the non-profit sector around watershed restoration, natural areas care, and outdoor science education. When she is not working, Rachel is often playing outside with her family, cooking, or exploring the amazing places in our region.
